The police in Lagos state have captured one Chukwuma Njoku, for supposedly wounding his sibling, Uchenna Njoku, a money manager, to death during a contention over N3,000 obligation at the perished’s home in the Odokekere zone of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
As per reports, Chukwu had visited his more established sibling last Friday April 2. During the visit, the expired requested that his sibling pay the N3,000 he owed him. Be that as it may, this deteriorated into a contention and later into a genuine battle. Requests from the pregnant spouse of the expired for them to quit battling, failed to be noticed. She headed out to call the neighbors to prevent them from battling.
Tragically before she returned, Chukwuma had drawn out a blade and purportedly cut his kin in the stomach.
A relative of the siblings, Alex Ogbu said;
“It was in my home that Uchenna remained when he initially got to Lagos before he began his life. What we assembled was that around 10pm on Friday, April 2, 2021, Chukwuma visited Uchenna to welcome him and during the visit, Uchenna requested the N3,000 Chukwuma owed him.
Uchenna demanded that Chukwuma would not take off from his home until he had paid the cash. Along these lines, they began contending, yet Chukwuma revealed to Uchenna that he additionally owed him N2,000 and that his equilibrium was N1,000.
Simultaneously, they battled from Uchenna’s loft till they got to the compound, where Chukwuma wounded Uchenna in the stomach with a blade. Uchenna’s better half, who is pregnant, was with them when they were taking steps to murder one another; she left to call a neighbor and got back to see that Chukwuma had wounded Uchenna in the stomach. He tumbled to the ground and began dying. Bloodstains are still at the location of the battle.”
Affirming the capture of the suspect, the representative of the state police order, Muyiwa Adejobi, said he will be taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, for legitimate examination and arraignment once an examination has been finished up.
