A Kenyan columnist, Betty Barasa was shot dead by presumed equipped looters at her home in Oloolua, Ngong region in Kajiado County.
Barasa, who functioned as a video editorial manager at the public telecaster, KBC, was lethally shot after showing up home from work at 8pm, on Wednesday night, April 7.
Territory DCIO Joseph Chesimet, who confrmed the occurrence on Thursday, said the writer was greeted by speculated burglars when she was crashing into her compound.
The suspects, from there on, requested that she bring them into the house, where they took her PC, cell phone and other unidentified individual belongings.
The presumed burglars, who were three in number, from there on shot and executed Barasa prior to getting away.
